The 27-hole SEA Games Golf Club was specially designed by Boo Young Co. Ltd. for the 25th South East Asian Games to be held in Vientiane, Laos in 2009. It is an ideal getaway location where one can enjoy a special round of golf. Located 10 miles north of the city in Saythany district, Vientiane, the setting is amidst verdant woodlands, giving the area a pretty look.
The holes of the SEA Games golf course, Vientiane are surrounded by expansive water bodies, with the largest water body being 1000 yards long. The flat, links-style track has quite a few elevations, average being about 15 feet. Moreover, the course provides a fun golfing experience for golfers of all levels.
SEA Games Golf Club discription:
Twenty-seven holes of golf lay in waiting for clients to the lovely course reserved for the main Vientiane, Laos’s twenty-fifth Southeast Asian Games. The course is located about 10 miles northeast of the city and, therefore, a spectacular escape from the urban bustles. The area is ideal for a getaway because of the surrounding Lao woodlands’ pastoral flora and fauna.
When on this golf course, you will enjoy the water surrounding some of the holes in the chairmanship layout. However, these are not common hazardous garden waters. They are indeed very expansive. Luckily, they add to the view than simple short-making. Because they are agile, you should not cross them to avoid unexpected hooks or even slides to stay dry. One of the most massive water bodies is over 1,000 yards in length and surrounded by seven holes that lay between courses B and C. 7 of the water bodies on the Lao Woodland define the tangential playing section for eighteen of the 27 holes in the golf course.
For players who are familiar with South Florida Golf, GC SEA Games will be similar, especially in terrain to the ones that are generally flat with links sort of tracks. Though the total elevation varies across the twenty-seven holes, it rests at an average of about 15 feet. Some greens could be the main island greens for the entire water surrounding them but are in real sense peninsular. No golf player wants to hit into the greens, or else your scorecard will have some big numbers. Generally, the course gives the player a feeling of affection when observing the water from the trees, fairways, and greens.
